A one-of-a-kind enamel pin that shows the earth, moon, and sun. Handmade from enamel on copper in a sterling silver setting with a standard pin finding.
Eclipses are created by alignments of planetary bodies. What alignments are happening in your life? What shines and what is eclipsed?
Many techniques were used to create this unique brooch including camaieu (painting and firing layers of fine white enamel over a dark transparent), application of 24K gold foil, roller embossing to create textures, hydraulic pressing, and tab setting.
Note: This brooch is substantial and is not suitable for pinning to light fabrics.
