This necklace consists of an enameled copper dome set in handcrafted sterling silver with 8 garnets. It hangs from a 16-inch sterling wheat chain.
I had a happy accident with the way the clear enamel reacted with the copper oxides in the dome. I added slices of copper tubing filled with red enamel. We now know there are many planets outside our solar system. Many of them may be beautiful beyond our imagining.
